Keep an Eye on - Section V
Section V Class AA has turned into a 2 horse race to the top this year. Pittsford Panthers and Rush-Henrietta Royal Comets are both 6-1 with Pittsford on top this week. Rush beat Pittsford in Week 2 - 26-19 but Section V uses a rating system that places the teams and puts Pittsford at No. 1 right now. Both squads have tough matchups this week with Rush playing East/World of Inquiry and Pittsford playing University Prep.
Penfield won the Section last year but is 0-7 with one week left to go. The Patriots beat Pittsford 21-10 in 2025, a game played at SUNY Brockport.
